A Musical Fundraiser

Strings of Hope is an evening where music becomes a force for good. This special fundraiser concert brings together the timeless beauty of Indian classical music with a purpose—to give back and make a meaningful difference.

The concert features Shakir Khan on sitar, an 8th-generation exponent of the Etawah Gharana and son and disciple of Ustad Shahid Parvez, one of the most revered sitar maestros of our time. Renowned for his depth, precision, and emotive expression, Shakir Khan carries forward a rich legacy while shaping a voice uniquely his own. 

He will be accompanied by Harshad Kanetkar on tabla, whose sensitive accompaniment and rhythmic mastery beautifully complement the sitar, creating an immersive and soulful musical experience.
